Streamline your survey programming by using this education resource directly in the Survey Editor.
The aytm Logic Guide brings information from our Logic Reference directly into the Survey Editor. Search for logic syntax with descriptions and examples, copy and paste syntax with one click, and drag and drop live logic examples into a survey.
How to use
To open the Logic Guide, click on the icon on the left side of the Survey Editor. The Logic Guide will pop out on the right side your screen.
Use the search bar to search for aytm logic terms. When you start typing the search will suggest topics. Click on the topic you wish to explore.
From here you will be able to read the descriptions, definitions, and examples for the logic condition.
The boxes containing logic syntax with a scissor icon can be used for a one-click copy function. Click on the box and then paste the logic syntax into a survey question.
If something is typed into the search bar that is invalid or can’t be found, we will show this message.
Live Logic Examples
Under the search bar, you will see popular logic conditions pre-populated, which will also update based on what is searched.
Grab the gray tab of any example to drag and drop into a survey. Each example will populate a set of questions to showcase an example of a logic condition in action.
This feature allows you to interact with a live pre-programmed logic example once it’s added to a survey you can view how the logic is programmed and use the Quick Preview (or the preview link) to test how it would work in a live survey. These pre-built examples will work like any other survey questions you can edit to fit your survey, or if you are only using them as a reference, don't forget to delete the example before launching your survey.
If you have any additional questions please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org or click the chat bubble at the bottom right to start a conversation. We look forward to hearing from you!
