Product Facings for Shelf Test

To the right of the contact card is a drop-down menu where you can control the number of facings for each product on the shelf. By default, this is set to auto which auto-fills the shelf with an even number of products based on the number items programmed. If set to 1 face, the product will appear one time on the shelf. If set to 2 faces, the product will appear twice. Additionally, you can set the facings of the product to fill a quarter of a shelf, all the way up to eight (8) shelves.

1. Editing the number of Product Facings on your Shelf

  1. Hover over the empty space to the far right of each row to illuminate more options.
  2. Click on the auto drop-down menu.
  3. Select the number of facings you would like for each respective product, or the amount of space it should take up on the shelf.

Use direct Preview to quickly view shelves and fine-tune product placement to fit your desired experience.

2. Facings for E-Commerce Shelves

With eCommerce, respondents will not see a virtual shelf, but rather a marketplace more akin to an online environment consisting of the product images, product names, prices, discounts, and, above the horizontal line, a description (if included in the Product Editor).

3. Facings for Club Store Shelves (i.e. Costco, Sam's Club)

With shelving types based on club stores like Costco, you can create a pallet with product boxes, and then add individual facings for the units on the shelf above. In the Product Editor the Main image is the box that displays on the pallet. The Single product image is the unit that sits on the shelf above. Learn more about programming club shelves with logic in this article.
